JOIN THE EURAXESS NETWORK!
Internationally mobile researchers need strong networks to successfully pursue a career in research. However, those who advise and support them at German higher education and research institutions also require networks.
In the context of the EU-wide initiative EURAXESS - Researchers in Motion, EURAXESS Germany provides a networking platform for researcher advisors as the German National Organisation (NO). NOs act as coordinators of the Network at national level and liaise with the EC, national governments and other organisations.
Further information can be obtained from the staff of EURAXESS Germany or the EURAXESS Web Flyer in German and English for download and print.
Institutions in Germany that provide advice and support to internationally mobile researchers and would like to participate in EURAXESS may register as a EURAXESS Centre. Once registered, EURAXESS Centres can be found by mobile researchers all over the world on the EURAXESS portal so that they know where they can turn for support when coming to your institution.
Furthermore, membership in the EURAXESS Network enables EURAXESS Centres to participate in a wide range of European activities and events to network across the international EURAXESS community. As a member, participation in European projects and tenders is also possible.
German higher education and research institutions may join the EURAXESS network by signing the Declaration of Commitment.
Institutions registered as EURAXESS members may refer to the texts that are available on the EURAXESS Germany portal (www.euraxess.de). This means that you may link to EURAXESS Germany from your own websites. You may also publish information from the EURAXESS Germany web portal directly on your own websites on the condition that you cite EURAXESS Germany as your source and indicate that we cannot accept any liability.
German higher education and research institutions that have signed the Declaration of Commitment have also the right to use the EURAXESS logo on their websites.
Projects that take up and explore core aspects of EURAXESS services are an essential of our mission. These projects fill EURAXESS with life as well as guarantee the sustainability of the network, connect EURAXSS centres across the globe and offer network members opportunities at exchange, improved support, or novel service models.

Under EURAXESS TOP Network Calls, members of the EURAXESS Germany Network undertook several individual Study Visits to other European EURAXESS Centres in order to learn from one another and to exchange their best practices in advising internationally mobile researchers.
